Over the many years of nurturing this venture, I've danced around with various types of quarter-inch plywood for laser cutting, and this domestic maple plywood is the best option, hands-down. It leaves the cleanest cut with no black residue, and cuts like a dream, as it only consists of three layers: two high-quality domestic Maple veneers sandwich a solid Douglas fir core.

These 1/4-inch by 12-inch by 24-inch project panels actually measure in at 0.20 inches in thickness, because you know how wood is. Try measuring a 2x4!

This extremely high quality plywood may not be available everywhere so I'm offering a freshly cut six pack to those interested. It's by far the best 1/4-inch plywood I have used and has my 100% stamp of approval.
